Chỉ người phụ nữ ham ăn ngon, tiêu xài hoặc ăn uống không biết giữ gìn, không nghĩ đến bổn phận với chồng con nên có thể gây hại cho gia đình hoặc cho con. Câu này phản ánh một quan niệm dân gian cũ, thường dùng để răn dạy phụ nữ về sự tiết chế và việc ăn uống kiêng khem sau sinh.

This proverb refers to a woman who indulges in good food or spends carelessly without regard for her husband and children, and by extension to the old belief that improper eating after childbirth could harm the child. It reflects a traditional folk view and was used to admonish women to be restrained and observe postpartum dietary restrictions.
